Juniper Village at Lebanon is a personal care community in Lebanon County offering quality personal care and senior living in South Lebanon Township. Located in the Lebanon Valley, Juniper Village at Lebanon is a popular personal care and independent living community for aging adults in the Cornwall, Myerstown, Cleona, and Mount Gretna PA areas. Like other Juniper communities, the Juniper Village at Lebanon offers private and semi-private rooms for residents to choose from. Each room has a private bath and kitchenette; semi-private rooms offer the company of a roommate. The dwellings are spacious and comfortable, with one and two-bedroom apartments to choose from. The independent living community is two-stories high, and apartments are available on the second or ground floor.
At Juniper Village, the staff believe an active body is the key to healthy aging. This belief is the driving force behind Juniper Village’s expansive calendar of social events. Residents are encouraged to spend time together and with their families, whether in the comfort of their suite, the community’s open lounges or sharing a meal together in the dining room. Juniper Village’s outdoor garden and walking paths are among a favorite of residents, allowing them to enjoy the seasons without going far from home. Shopping is easy at one of the nearby stores and participating in one of the community’s classes or arts and crafts sessions engage residents in a fulfilled life. Seniors can easily maintain their sense of well-being while spending time with friends and participating in community social events.
Like many other personal care or assisted living facilities, Juniper Village does not offer extensive medical care on campus. Skilled nursing homes differ from assisted and independent living communities, with a different roster of staff and better access to medical resources. However, residents can receive short-term rehabilitation during their stay at Juniper Village at Lebanon, thanks to their innovative Connect4Life program. As a personal care community, Juniper Village primarily focuses on delivering quality long-term care, and older adults should not expect to join the community to receive extensive skilled nursing care.
When older adults in the Lebanon Valley no longer wish to live at home and want to receive personal care in a senior living community, Juniper communities are a popular choice. Among the personal care and independent living communities in South Lebanon PA, Juniper Village at Lebanon is among the most highly rated for its staff, rooms, and services. With simple lease agreement options, it’s easy for older adults to find the apartment they love and establish the long-term care plan they need. I liked Juniper Village at Lebanon. I had a nice tour. I enjoyed it and they were very cooperative. They gave me a meal there which was very nice and very good. I only needed a one-bedroom, but there wasn't any available yet to look at. They would tell me if there would be. I looked at a two-bedroom and the apartment was very nice. It has everything you need. The staff went around with the tour and told me everything that would be included and everything else. They have a gym, a beauty salon, and outside activities. They were very pleasant and very cooperative (they said whenever they would have an outing, they would let me know).

We chose Juniper Village at Lebanon for my grandparents because the staff is amazing. I can't say anything bad about it. The staff is wonderful, and the food is excellent. I've eaten with them twice. That was a big concern for us, because in the other facility they were not being fed properly. We see the staff making special arrangements because my grandparents are on a special diet and a diabetic diet, and they make accommodations for them. I like that they are truly caring and genuine, and there are plenty of activities. They have a gym, a salon, and they have in-house maintenance.

I toured Juniper Village at Lebanon, which is a very nice facility. I would give it an A-plus rating. The apartment that I viewed was A-plus. I like their facility. It was smaller and more personal, and the patients seemed very happy there. The staff was fabulous. She was very helpful. She informed me on everything. She showed me the apartment, described it to me, and told me about the other facilities. They showed me their recreation area. It's more personal than the other I've visited so far. It's more family oriented.

My wife's aunt is at Juniper Village at Lebanon. The staff members seem to be pretty pleasant and helpful. They do seem to have a fair amount of turnover. It's a nice facility. Everything is on one level. The rooms down to the dining room are all easy to get to. Her comment about the food is that it's kind of bland. It's institutional food. They have games and bingo. They have activities in the community room that people can choose to attend. They have Bible study. The grounds are pretty well maintained. It's a bigger campus. The facility always seems to be clean. I don't ever smell bad smells when I walk in. My wife's aunt is well tended for.
