This place is amazing! My mother has been in and out of the hospital and sub acute rehabs for almost a year now. This is the cleanest, nicest rehabilitation facility I have been in. Beautiful terraces and outdoor pond area to enjoy on the nice days. You probably couldn’t find a nicer person than Mark! Always helpful, knowledgeable and always greets people with a smile. The entire staff here at the JHF is outstanding. The energy here is very upbeat and positive. The PT/OT team as well as the nurses and aides are always caring to the patients and do their best to help everyone. We are so grateful for all they have done to help. I would highly recommend The Jewish Home Family rehab facility!!

Dear Marva: We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for the exceptional care I received from you while at the Jewish Home Family sub-acute rehab facility in Rockleigh, NJ. I should point out that you extended a hand not just in health care but also in friendship to me as the patient and to my husband as my companion during the 30 days we were at the facility. Our day of arrival was stressful and full of expectations. It was also a very significant day due to your actions helping us get settled in and reassuring us that you would take good care of me. It did not take long for you to get my husband accommodated with a recliner and a companion bed. My husband also remembers stepping out of the room for a short while and when he returned, he found me crying of happiness because you had showered me, helped me change and get comfortable in my bed. From that moment on we started to call you Ms. Marva-lous! You are a very competent, take charge, friendly, kind and responsible person. At first glance your sense of humor was not apparent but once we got to know each other we found out otherwise. We absolutely loved talking to you about anything and everything and as the days went by we grew fonder of our relationship and today we are happy to consider you a friend forever. Depending where you live, the commute can be a little difficult but well worth it. Mom came to JHR rehab with a fractured tailbone and severe pain in left knee with a few other pre-existing issues. JHR staff were kind and patient with mom. Mom was in such bad shape after being discharged from hospital we thought she would end up in nursing. to our happy surprise, JHR staff was able to get mom strong enough to come back home and get her into healthy daily routine. Too many great people there to name but I''ll try - Marybeth, Ehmerie, Anna, Sylvie ,Uba, Lourdes, Stephenie, Kassia, Stephanie, Samira, Adrienne and so many more but I couldn''t get all the names. No one wants to leave a loved elderly someplace but if you have to, JHR should be your first consideration. We have yet to find a place where all residents have their own private room. All around the facility is beautiful and staff are knowledgeable as well as kind.
