Our family journey with Ivy Park at Bradford began in August 2023 when I took mom and dad for a visit. The entire staff was very welcoming; the tour was thorough and from the beginning Ivy Park was very transparent with their pricing structure and without “hidden fees”. Over the subsequent months, whenever a room became available, I was promptly notified. Our family’s criteria for transitioning my parents into the community at Ivy Park became a reality one week ago. The staff was unfailingly over generous with their time and patience. Their professionalism and expertise were invaluable. Multiple questions were answered and addressed promptly, even to point of staff reaching out to the Executive Director who was on vacation to discuss terms of “reserving” two rooms. As it happens in life, the plans to transition my parents did not come into fruition at this time. I wish to acknowledge Ivy Park at Bradford staff for their quality of interactions with potential family members and residents. The residents were consistently well kempt and happy and participating in activities. The buildings were very clean and the grounds serene and beautiful. My experience with Ivy Park Bradford has been nothing but a positive experience.

My mother is in Ivy Park at Bradford. She's in memory care there. It's very nice, well-kept, and very clean. It feels like a home. It doesn't feel clinical. It feels like a place you would want to live. The staff is topnotch, number one, best in the biz, fantastic, outstanding. I couldn't be happier. There's bingo, they take trips to Wal-Mart or local stores, there are arts and crafts types of things, they have board game nights, they have brain game puzzles and coffee in the morning. They have people that come in and sing. There's trivia. That's probably about half the stuff, so there's more than that, but I'm not sure what else offhand. It's not cheap, but it's worth it, mom's worth it.

They have a big common area. When I was there they were having dinner. I liked the setting. It's very accommodating for the memory residents. It's really secured. I met the executive director. She was the only one available. The room they showed me was very clean.

My loved one is safe and cared for at Ivy Park. The staff there are wonderful and generally do their best to be accommodating for residents. The issues that we've had are constant pricing increases. The rent just went up considerably and now the point system for services is also going up. Be aware that this happens regularly and needs to be planned for. If your loved one needs additional services they are charged based on a point system where a seemingly random number of points are assigned to each service. For example, if your loved one is found to have a severe speech impairment (based on their assessment), 6 points are assigned. You'll pay per point (let's say $18), which means you'll pay an additional $18x6 on top of monthly rent. Hands-on assistance with incontinence is assigned 74 points, so factor $18x74 into your monthly costs. Make absolutely sure you understand the care costs/point system when considering Ivy Park. Resident turnover seems pretty high.

It was amazing to me how she knew so many of the residents by name and was happy to engage with them, even as she was kind of showing me the facility. It was very obvious that she cared for the clients. I saw one of the rooms that was open, so it was nice.
