The rooms are nice and have all I need. One thing that would make it terrific is if the upstairs have small safe balcony. Interaction with the staff is great for me, always polite, do their jobs great with a smile and kind words. I am an "independent "resident here. There are a few of us here and we have very nice living. This is the best place in town to be a resident like me: Lost my husband, had to sell house etc. No family in town, no car (they have transportation to get you to appts., shopping, any needs). Everything you need is in your rent, room, elect, food, housekeeping once a week, laundry once a week, direct tv, activities. Some of us have our pet dog, cat, bird (there is a security deposit for them) but the love and enjoyment of having them with us is well worth anything. We have lots of special days with special food for the function. We get special outings, lunches, shopping , trips to different things going on in town, and you can always make suggestions of places to go, to do, etc. You do make great friends here so you don't feel alone they become YOUR FAMILY in town. When the rest of your family lives in another state and can't be right here with you.

My mother-in-law stayed at Inspirations. The place itself was nice, but it's very expensive and they keep raising the rent, so she can no longer afford it. She was very comfortable there, she didn't want to leave. One of the downsides was that there was no actual hospital in Pahrump. When she had her stroke, she was there for 10 hours before they were able to move her to Las Vegas. The staff was wonderful with her. They were extremely good. They were always looking in on the residents. The activities director was excellent. The place was immaculate. They had a separate room if you want to eat with your family, and it was like $10 for the meal, which is reasonable. They had a common dining room but they also had these little rooms if you want to be private. The food was excellent, and they had a really good menu. When you walk in, to the right is a grand piano and a little fireplace. The basic studio apartment had a little kitchenette with a refrigerator and a microwave, tables and chairs, a big bathroom, and enough room to put her bed, her recliner, and a TV. They had a library and an exercise room. They did bingo and movies.

There is not a lot of activities or engagement in the community. Communication has gotten better since the director has come back. The food is really good but i would not recomend this community to others

My brother is currently in Inspirations in Pahrump, Nevada. It's a very nice, clean facility. Unfortunately, I live in West Virginia, and that's in Nevada, so other than a visit there, I have not gotten around the facility to know exactly. According to him, the food is very good, and he's very pleased with the staff. His room is like a typical apartment with a kitchenette, bedroom, and bath. The last time I was there, there were a lot of activities going on. It's a new facility and it's very homey, it's very nice. Everyone was super when I was there.
