This place had the worse nursing staff and CNA staff. My meds were all messed up, I waited forever for someone to change my diapers, and I ended up taking more care of myself than from them. The food was never what you asked for. The only good thing was the rehab. Best I''ve ever seen. Buy that was 2 hours a day for 5 days. The rest of the week you were stuck with the staff. Just awful. I meant to turn them into the state but never did. I finally had my husband co.eand get me out of there.

Wife received worse care possible. Therapy would pull her out of bed. Staffing couldn''t care about our issues. Would not assist with insurance on coverage. Ended up in hospital 3 times. Took threat of calling 911 to get them to react one time. It was all about bottom line.

The Wisconsin average is 3.5 This “resort” paid the government almost half a million dollars in fines since 2020. $432 K Let that sink in. The more serious reviews on Google, Yelp , BBB and other sites urge individuals & their families to steer clear. In July 2023, the government found a whopping 21 deficiencies. Many very serious. The current trend shows they are worsening rather than improving. Rankings compared to other nursing homes in area: They are ranked 21 out of 21 facilities in a 10 mile area. (As of November 2023) And 62 out of 64 facilities within a 25 mile radius. Official complaints filed Over 100. They are listed in 5th place of the top ten WORST nursing homes in the state. Note: the nursing staff of Ignite Medical resort Oak Creek spends LESS time on average with its residents than the state average and Less time than the national average for total nursing homes spent per resident. Before our parent was admitted to Ignite, Our family did NOT throughly check out Ignite Medical Resort. We Went on the glossy hyped up brochures. I urge you, please don’t make the same mistake. Also , go one step further and see what current & former employees say about this facility. Look at Glassdoor & Indeed. Look at the critical reviews. Staffing turnover 74.3% compared to 53.5 for state of Wisconsin. Several sites list this as a lower end nursing home. Red flags are everywhere. This facility has very little working in it’s favor. Going one step further, let’s look at one of the owner’s of Ignite Medical Resorts: 20% Is Berger Family Trust While some of their nursing homes have high ratings from the government, most do not. Out of 28 nursing homes, overall rating is 2.67 stars As of November 2023, There were a Total of 1,650 deficiencies associated with these nursing homes and a whopping total of $3,124,209 in fines. (Almost half a million at Ignite Oak Creek). Let this sink in. When going to a nursing home whether long or short term, it’s important to go to the very best possible . You want a safe, clean , environment. Friendly , knowledgeable & attentive staff. You want a feeling that , whether you are there long term or short term you made the right choice. Don’t you or your loved one deserve the very best? Not something that ranks in the bottom of the neighborhood or state. Should you decide to go ahead & tour this facility and find out more, Ask their administrator, what are they doing to correct these problems associated with their “Resort” Our family’s advice: you can do much better.
