Humboldt House Rehabilitation And Nursing Center

The building is clean, most staff are friendly and helpful. The staff takes great care of my Brother and I really appreciate that. The social worker & Nurse practitioner is awesome. Health care is very hard and demanding work, I appreciate you all❤️🙏🏾

This is a disgusting facility. The aides and nurses don’t attend to the residents. It’s an outdated place no air conditioner no fans. This is one of horrible place to put your parent or anyone at that

This was the most distressing and depressing rehabilitation facility I have ever experienced. The facility is old an outdated. Specifically, the room I was assigned was to small. The bathroom are terrible, my toilet never flushed properly. The electrical receptacles in my room didn’t work, I had too charge my cell phone in the hall way. I under stand the feeding that number of people is a Hugh task, but who wants cold food at every meal,, it’s bad enough that you can’t recognize what you trying to eat. I was in a room with a gentleman who clearly was in the early stages of dementia, I was always on edge because all he ever did was complain, make a mess, fall out of his chair. It was just a distressing situation for me. As for the staff, I will say some were excellent. Others had such nasty attitudes that I just didn’t even bother interacting with them. I pray I never have such a nerve racking encounter again.I honestly feel that place neeeds to be shut down.

Have had communication problems with social workers which is unfortunate. My daughter''s loved one needs better medical evaluations per ECMC and blood work results. Have to do all the appointment scheduling and transportation to same. Basic lack of needed medical attention. The place is clean and some of the staff are nice. Just need to move in a better direction with care. Neglect is a word that comes to mind so far. Don''t complain or your loved one will be met with retribution. Dirty inside patients bathroom.
