I started looking for nursing home facilities about a year and a half ago for my in laws who have had failing health. I went to several facilities in and around where I live. I never had any experience in nursing home care. Because I was so overwhelmed I brought a relative who is a retired physical therapist with me for her input. We came to this facility and were very impressed with the care the patients received and with the staff who seemed happy and knowledgeable. When the time came we were happy we did the legwork ahead of time. My relative has dementia and needs extra care. The care staff has kept very good communication with us. We have several family members who come throughout different times of the day and she is always well cared for. On the administrative side of things the office staff was incredibly helpful navigating a very complicated process and helped us figure out insurance issues and getting everything along paperwork side. It has been 3 weeks now and we are very pleased with how things are going. The staff all are very good and we feel very blessed to have found this place. It is not a fancy facility it is a little older of a facility but it is clean and the care is second to none.

(They stuck in there bitter ways) They talk bad about the residents in front of them and visitors. Talk alot of mess about team members. Please please don''t bring your mama or daddy here. They won''t be taken care of whole heartly. My heart goes out for ALL the residents that''s lives here and has pasted away from this place. Same for all the other terrible nursings homes.

My mother has been here for a week and i am having her transferred out of here today. We have had only had 1 cna that actually cares about the patients and her name is crystal. Crystal is amazing but everyone else is absolutely horrible! Ive had to argue with nurses multiple times about the medications my mother is supposed to be taking and the times that she takes her medications. She is a transplant patient and has to take her meds 12 hours apart but they want to give it to her 8 hours apart. When she refused her meds one day at that eight hour time frame and the correct time came they refused to give them to her. This is NOT RIGHT. Oh and don''t let me forget she is a full-fledged diabetic and they haven''t given her any of her mealtime insulin since being here. Her room is extremely hot and there''s no remote control for the TV plus a big line across the middle of the TV the toilet is broken and we''ve asked for it to be fixed and still nothing.

Do not trust the rating on the Medicare website. I was fooled by that and sent my dad here and in three months his bed sore went from bad to worse, he was dehydrated, had an infection and lost weight. They let my dad sit there and never took care of him. They make you take a Covid test every week in order to see your loved one and that’s ridiculous. When I finally got in my dad had a cough that their so called DON said was from him swallowing but he never took a sip of water. Turns out he was suffering from bronchitis and had I not gotten in I wouldn’t have been able to get help for him. Finally he got so bad that they had to call an ambulance and that was my chance to get him out of that hell hole. The facility and rooms are depressing and unkempt and of course they stole all of his clothes. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!

As a family nurse practitioner in the Humble area, I am truly embarrassed by the way they treat patients and their family members. Monique, Gloria, and Annie should not be responsible for the health and safety of any human beings. Absolutely astonishing how they treat the patients and family members that pay their bills.
