I was a patient there for 3 days which was way too long. It is the worst medical care I have ever had. Most of the nurses don''t care. Their favorite thing to say is I''ll check on that and then they never come back. It takes an hour for them to answer the call bell and then you might get an answer like I''ll have to check with the doctor. I had heartburn for 24 hours and they had nothing to give me. They said we have to get a prescription through your doctor. I wouldn''t have had heartburn if they had been giving me my medicine from the beginning so they just let me suffer. I asked one of the CNA''s to help me walk to the bathroom and she rolled her eyes up, she did not want to be bothered. I would not put anyone in that facility ever. I ended up signing myself out against medical advice that''s how bad this place is. I saw the doctor one time in 3 days and he didn''t listen to what I had to say. I was still talking when he walked out the door. Please don''t put your loved ones in this facility you will regret it.

What a great place for my mom to get better after her fall. This was one of the most difficult things our family has ever gone through and we couldn''t have done it without all the different departments at Horizon Ridge. Nursing, Case Management, Customer Relations, Housekeeping, and Therapy. I just wanted to say how blessed we are to have had mom come here.

Gave 1 star because of a few of the workers. Housekeeping, 2 in the PT dept, and 2 nurses. I was transferred from and ICU in the middle of the night. I was overdue for my antibiotics and other meds, like for PAIN and they did not have them and told me I had to wait till morning sometime. I also sa...

Gave 1 star because of a few of the workers. Housekeeping, 2 in the PT dept, and 2 nurses. I was transferred from and ICU in the middle of the night. I was overdue for my antibiotics and other meds, like for PAIN and they did not have them and told me I had to wait till morning sometime. I also sat without oxygen for about 20 minutes, they had trouble finding a concentrator that worked. For a newer facility, your equipment should be kept updated! They were snotty with me when I was asking about it. It took at least 10 minutes for anyone to come to me after pressing the call button. The food is HORRIBLE ! Every meal was cold. Everything served in styrofoam containers. Vegetables all from the freezer or a can and over cooked. Fruit, pudding..etc..all from #10 cans. Random condiments served with the meals. No care what so ever to make it pleasing to the eye, or the palette. I had my family send me gift cards so I could order food in. Over all, it was a horrible experience and if I would have had a choice in where I was sent, or if I could have been transferred out, trust me I would not have spent a month there! If you have any choice on where to send a loved one, DO NOT send them here!

Honestly not a good experience at any level. In my opinion, my dad was neglected during his stay at Horizon. He also developed horrible sores during his stay there. The phone was never answered when I called and messages were never returned when left. Living out of state and having a sick parent at that facility was a nightmare. I would strongly recommend finding a different facility for your loved one. My dad deteriorated rapidly while staying there and we had to have him moved.
