They simply came to our rescue after struggling to car for our parents on our own and after a bad experience with another free lance care giver. Honestly, Home Instead made the process of getting started as clients so simple. Immediately put at ease by the process, the consultants professionalism, and the owner who also met with us. I had a great feeling about them front the beginning and after a month of them caring for my parents 11 hours a day, 7 days a week, I know my initial gut feeling was 100% accurate. The agency is very responsive to our needs and requests as are the caregivers. I enjoy hearing my parents talk with them as they forge personal relationships. Who doesn’t want genuinely kind people with their parents all day? They tend not only to my parent’s personal needs(bathing, dressing, medication reminders, assist in daily exercises, etc.) but they cook 3 meal a day, do laundry daily, and some light cleaning as needed. They are open to whatever we ask of them. What I really appreciate is their initiative. If they notice something that needs to be done, they do it. If a light bulb is out, they find out where the extras are kept and they replace the bulb. My entire family agrees that hiring Home Instead is the closest thing we can get to the care giving we would give ourselves. We are so grateful for their help.
