Hollywood Hills, a Pacifica Senior Living Community is a wonderful facility. Mom is quite comfortable with it. We, as a family, are comfortable with the way they take care of her, the atmosphere there, and the facility as a whole, like the physical therapy, the exercises, the meal plans, everything that they have to offer. We just love it. The memory care staff is wonderful. They are very caring, very understanding, and very patient. They are very specific to the needs of each person. Mom has a low sodium diet and they're very attentive to making sure that her meals are like that, but still very tasty, because she's an extremely picky eater. They have daily movies, they do field trips on Fridays, live music on Tuesdays, exercises every day during the week, lots of walking, and lots of communication with other residents and staff. Everything is pricey. You get what you pay for is true to form.

I would let others know that they really listen and will try to help you out in any way that they can. The main reasons we chose Hollywood Hills was because of the pricing, the staff and the location as well. I would most definitely recommend this community to others.

When you walk in it feels like a dwelling, not an institution. My only complaint is that for someone who needs a lot of assistance, I find the place to be understaffed. The staff is great, but they're exhausted. Residents sometimes have to wait for quite awhile to get help when they need it. I think they could do with more staffing. Communication with the family is okay. Once I bring their attention to something, they're communicative about it. I do think they make an effort to communicate. Housekeeping is okay, they keep my loved one's apartment reasonably clean. Laundry service is okay, generally speaking. I would recommend this facility to family and friends, depending on their needs. I would say if someone doesn't need a tremendous amount of services, this is a very good place.

The process of finding a place for mom has been worrying, difficult and scary. [name removed] has helped us through every step of the process in ways we couldn’t even have imagined. The building is one of a kind, charming, old Hollywood feel, but with modern amenities and helpful, caring staff.
