I don't think my sister would have been happy there. I interacted with the director, but I really didn't care for her. She was like in your face a little too much. She was a little over towering. As far as I could tell, the condition of the place was fine.

We went to Heritage House Assisted Living. The best thing about this community is probably because it's a nice smaller community, and they seem to do a lot for them as far as taking them out for field trips and things like that. They had a nice big backyard, but for my brother, it was maybe just not enough parking. Not that he drives, but we drive and there are four sisters who go see him, so the parking probably would be an issue, especially if somebody had their own car there. The staff who gave the tour was very pleasant and thorough. We got to tour a room and the whole area. It's not big, but we got to tour that. The dining area seems nice. I think it was too early for lunch, but we could smell the food and it smelled good. What we're concerned about in this facility is that it just had a short fence around it. Like if somebody wants to take off and it's right across from the school, which would be busy, and it's kind of a busy road.
Read moreThis place is large enough to be comfortable and small enough that you will never get lost. Everyone is like family in this facilty. The communication is amazing. All the residents are always happy with smiles on there face.
Residents were clean, dressed nicely, and appeared happy/comfortable in their home.
Our family is so grateful for the care she (my mother-in-law) is getting. [name removed] is always willing to do whatever is needed to ensure mom is taken care of. She has such a positive attitude!
I think the ladies here have a true heart for those they care for. It has been a very pleasant experience for me. I so appreciate everyone here tries daily to make us comfortable.
