It was a good day for my friend. I called yesterday and asked that she be ready to go outside. Thank you! She enjoyed being out soaking up the sun and fresh air.
My Aunt Cheryl is in this facility after suffering a brain aneurysm and being at Toledo hospital. We are praying and working diligently on getting her home!
Terrible. Would give 0 stars if possible. Leaving patients alone for hours without checking on them, leaving them dirty. Staffing issues, employees that don''t care. A good friend of mine resides here and while it was okay under HCR ManorCare, when ProMedica (parent company to HCR ManorCare) sold off all their nursing homes, the subsequent owners have driven it into the ground even further. First it was Waterville healthcare, now it''s called Ayden Healthcare at Waterville. Ayden now owns all of the former HCR ManorCare facilities in the Toledo area. For the last 2 months we have been unable to contact said friend because the facilities phone system has been inoperative and she lost her cell phone. When you call the main number it just rings nobody answers. It is a sorry excuse for a nursing home but to be expected for a state-funded Medicare accepted nursing home. Considering it''s location it deserves much better operation. This is absolutely unacceptable that we cannot contact them and friend cannot contact us because there is no working phone service in the facility.

Just awful. The administrator, Michelle H., was nothing more than rude and unreliable. Could not argue her way out of a paper bag. No real surprises that Waterville Healthcare has been fined for violations in the past. My guess is this individual no longer works there. If she had anyone above her to hold her accountable, seems unlikely she would have displayed such unprofessional behavior. Do NOT send your loved ones to this miserable, cold, dirty facility. There are much better places in the area. Do your research. Negative 1,000,000,000 stars for Waterville Healthcare.
