My mother is now in her 8th year here. I have never considered moving her to any other place. Cedar Creek is small and that has been a benefit for my mom. The staff knows her well and the intimate setting is conducive to participation in activities. For an assisted living facility, they do a good job making it feel like home.
Read moreLove this community. Small but gives staff more time to spend with residents. Very friendly staff and willing to answer any questions I had. Church services were going on when I toured, residents were singing praise to the Lord! Loved seeing this!

Interior of the facility clean but the landscape in front poor. When it rains the gutters overflow and mulch covers the sidewalk. For most part staff members have been very nice. Hard to get a feel on management, they seem preoccupied. I believe my family member is getting good care. Family member tells me that the food is pretty good. Family member doesn't participate in activities, but looking at the activity calendar it looks like they offer a lot. I feel that the level of nursing care is too expensive. Family member is a level 4, I don't see where she is getting that much nursing care. I am glad that this facility is small. I think it suits my family member well. I only toured one other place and it was 100 plus beds. Not sure if that would have worked out as well. Assisted living is all new to me so this is hard since I do not have anything to compare it to. Difficult also because family member is not social.

Read moreI toured Hamilton Place and I would rate it a 2 out of 5 all the way around. The carpet of the facility was dirty and in disrepair. The staff didn't seem to be too interested in talking to me, but more in what was going on around outside the office.
The main reason that we chose Hamilton Place over others that we looked into was because of the setting of the facility as well as availability at the time. They have been very fast at answering any questions we have had.
