Our family had an in person tour with Oaks at Habersham and the reason for the overall rating is simply because they seemed confused. Oaks at Habersham was very nice. It was very enlightening for me. I just fell in love with the place. It's gorgeous. All the staff that I saw were very friendly and caring. Everybody was going about doing their work. The rooms were very nice, large, roomy, and wheelchair accessible. So that was good. The staff who gave me the tour seemed to be well-informed, pleasant, and helpful. I didn't observe any activities. Several people were in their wheelchairs, and some were out on the porch sitting in the sun because it was a very warm, nice, sunny day. I was there in the morning time, but I didn't have any activities going on at that time. The dining area nice. They had set up large tables, which were spaced about. It was clean and everything.

I was not very impressed with Oaks at Habersham, the security was not good. The doors just open right up, most places you have to have a code. I knew my loved one would escape right away so I did not feel comfortable placing him here.
