My daddy was placed there for about a week while on hospice care. The first time I went to see him I wasn''t really satisfied with the way the room was set up as I was worried if he fell out of the bed he would hit his head on the night stand. They resolved that concern very quickly and the next day and there after were great. The nurses that cared for my daddy were awesome! They were very supportive of us when my daddy took hi final breath on February 15 20222. Highly recommend!!

Bad place. Mostly rude staff. All about money.

We are pleased with the services of Green Acres Health and Rehab. Each time our loved one is visited, we see kind and respectful team members. They make certain to take time to show love and tenderness to the residents. They do not overlook those that cannot communicate and often go out of their way to make certain to touch and show caring and compassion. Residents are encouraged to participate in the daily routines of fitness, socialization and enjoying their time during the day. Care giving is a talent and career path that is so underappreciated. We place our loved ones in their hands and trust them to nurture them and take care of them. As with any other professional we encounter, these special care givers deserve respect and appreciation for the role they play in keeping residents safe and happy. ( Happy staff, happy residents and family members). The exterior of the facility is well maintained and the lawns nicely manicured. The courtyard is wonderful for the residents who have family members to take them outdoors. They are in need of additional parking to accommodate both their staff and the visitors. I would like to see the residents enjoy more "porch and sunshine" time. Residents who have their mental faculties to ask to go outdoors are allowed but those who are incapable of communicating this tend to be left indoors the majority of the time. ( I understand staffing and safety issues). Writing this makes me realize that I should volunteer my time to an eldercare facility. GAHR is very easy to work with to get your loved one admitted and to ensure their needs are met. The admissions and financial director will assist you in any way they can to help you place your loved one. They are willing to explain billing and help you understand what you need to do to get through the initial placement. Overall, we are pleased with the center and recommend it.
