From facilities, to staff, to residents, Granite Gate is unlike any Community I have seen. It is described as a 5 Star Community; weighed and measured against my experiences, it truly is! As cliché as it sounds, it needs to be seen to be believed. An utmost beautiful property and community. My sincerest thank you to the Granite Gate “family” for making the transition from the Colorado Assisted living facility seamless and effortless. It has been nothing but smiles, a helping hand and a warm welcome.

I want to share my experience at Granite Gate SL (memory section) regarding two very special employees. Maria Marroquin and Terra Pearson, Maria and Terra demonstrated on a daily basic outstanding dedication to their jobs. These two employees are by far the most caring and dedicated people in the care giving field and my hat is off to these outstanding employees. They are an extreme asset to Granite Gate. It was an honor to know both of these outstanding individuals, you could not find more caring people.

The people are wonderful. There is a constant turnover with staff. The remodeling on the outside is beautiful. They hired a chef but they have a hard time, finding cooks and keeping servers. remodeling on the outiside is beautiful. The offer a lot of activities, which includes: exercise, bingo, happy hour, poker, ice cream socials, yoga, church services, weekly Bible Study, and hand massages on Sundays. Once per month you can go to restaurants. There is also a movie theatre. There is a huge dining room with beautiful lighting. They have staff, that cleans your room once per week, for 45 minutes. They have a bus, van, and car for transportation, in which they take you shopping, on tours and to your doctors appointments. There has also, been a turnover with the caretakers.
