My great aunt lives here and I’m very unsatisfied with the staff and poor communication. She has gotten worse since she has been there trash overflowing laundry over flowing. Family has been cleaning the floors. I would not recommend this place.

I worked at Elkhart place for over a year and about a month ago they was bought by ops living..But as of Monday Dec 11 2023 I was fired over the phone by the ED .Her name is Terri..How un professional is that..But December 10 I was called in the Don office Her name is April and I was told that she got numerous compliments that I don''t be doing my duties which was a lie I always did my job. BUT the last night I worked there I put my two weeks notice I n to go PRN and the very next day the Ed called me to tell me I was fired. NEVER got called in the office in the past about anything never ever gotten written up for anything at all.I feel if they was told that then why didn''t they never addressed me with it..So with that being said iam about to filed charges for wrongful termination and iam calling EEOC and tell my side of my story cause the ED was not trying to hear my side at all she was very rude and very unprofessional and it hurts me to my soul that they fire me for a lie didn''t investigate or nothing just fired .I believe because I put my two weeks notice in that night before

Let me start by saying this. I went for an interview, both the Administration and the DON interviewed me. Offered me the 2nd shift CNA position . Went through the process of having my back ground done. Which came back completed, waited to know when my orientation was going to be. Never received the call. Called and was told by the DON that she will return my call before she leaves for the day. Still never received the call, the bottom line is this, be professional if there was any discrepancy in my background check. Then have the common courtesy to say what that is , and allow me to defend myself. Or a discrepancy with my references then let me know something. By ignoring my calls , or not calling back at all, let''s me know that this was not the place to work, if they couldn''t come to about something this minor can you imagine something serious. Again very unprofessional They didn''t stop anything because I''m hired with Amazon, and my references and background check was excellent!!!

My client moved into Grand Emerald Place one week ago. The atmosphere of the place is very cheerful and welcoming. Everybody is so friendly. It seems like a very nice place to be. His room is really nice and spacious. The food is really good. We stayed for lunch one day and had dinner another time. Both times, the food was really good. The dining room has a fireplace and a wall of windows, so they can see out into the field and the forest. They play bingo, euchre, and trivia. They have field trips, where they go to different stores at least three times a month.
