My mom is a resident at Gowanda Rehab. She loves the food and tells me all the time how great the activities are. Her therapist has been amazing, and she is walking better than ever. We cant wait to see her at home in a few days. Thank you to the entire team! You ROCK!

The "acting" administration is a heartless woman who spoke over me versus listening, dismissed my major concerns and questions about the situation that lead to my father''s current ICU admission, on a ventilator, after being found unresponsive, unattended in their courtyard area. In fact this director made reference to the incident being my "father''s decision." My father was sent to an unfamiliar hospital hospital after an unknown length of unresponsiveness, found with a fever over 104 on a hot day, with NO advance directives, MOLST, nor medication list. I preferred to quietly have this invetigated as there are some of THE BEST NURSES AND CNAS in this facility but after this interaction and then to boot being told the Department of Health was never notified I cannot keep my concerns about this administration quiet. No accountability, no responsibility, only pointing fingers at a patient who PRIVATE PAYS to be cared for in her facility. It is a real shame some of the most qualified CNAs and Nurses have to work under such a careless and cold administrator.

Wish I could do a negative star. My sister was in for rehab and after a month put her on "comfort care". Luckily we got her out of there and she is now at a facility that cares for my sister. In trying to get her suitcase, clothes and other belongings back, the facility can''t find them and ignore our calls. I have left numerous messages with the Administrator who doesn''t seem to know how to return a phone call. I wouldn''t send my worst enemy to this place!
