Staff is AMAZING my aunt is currently there after having a stroke and they are doing a GREAT job with her rehabilitation along with making sure she has everything she needs to be comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Colusa Hospital tried to transfer my father to this living center without family approval. I contacted this business the day of transfer and found out that the referring Dr. from Colusa was trying to dump my father, who had advance Dementia with sun downing (veteran) and needed a lock facility. The staff at Golden Living Center informed me that the Dr stated on the referral my father only needed rehab. Thank god we stopped the transfer. I have been calling to get a copy of the referral...not one person will give me a call back. I asked for medical records, admin. or the owner. Even thought my father has passed...I want to make sure this doesn''t happen to another patient or family. This is my father...he deserved to be treated with respect and dignity. This facility refusal to help...is allowing this mistreatment to continue!

I have tried 4 days in a row multiple times A day to get ahold of my mom and I keep getting transferred from multiple lines .I get to A-line where I have to leave a voicemail and I haven''t been able to speak to her in days and it''s b*******. I currently am 2 hours away And it''s hard for me to drive-through the Canyon to Bakersfield and I have no updates on my mom.
