I would not recommend this facility for anyone! My father was placed here due to so many facilities having a waitlist so unfortunately we were stuck. Upon his arrival, the staff did not want to interact with us. Trying to get a nurse’s attention was painful. I would stand at the nurses station with three staff members present and not one of them would acknowledge that I was standing there. My father fell out of bed one night and was sent to the ER, nobody called to alert us. I found out days later from his roommate’s family! When I spoke with the social worker as to why we weren’t called, her reason was that there was no next of kin listed in the computer! You have a health care proxy form on file but never entered the information into the computer or medical record?!?! Unfortunately while my father was there, he contracted COVID and a lung mass was discovered at the hospital and he passed away a few days later. Prior to his passing, he was sent back to the nursing facility on hospice but we couldn’t get a nurse to answer our phone calls, not address our needs. They lost all of his belongings, including his dentures, only to call us days later saying they found the dentures…problem was, my fathers dentures were in the body bag when he arrived at the funeral home, so who’s dentures are you trying to give us days after he was cremated? This facility does not have their act together! Stay away!

My mom was there for 4 years. She went there when it was Golden Living. It was wonderful when it was Golden Living but as soon as it was taken over by Plymouth Harborside it went right down hill. They stopped all of the activities and most of the good staff left. They were not being truthful with us on how she was doing with eating and staying hydrated. Once she passed they lost/threw away most of her belongings and so we were not able to get those back. I would definitely not recommend!!!

I am currently here. Arrived 4 days ago for rehab. They were sent all my information from Brigham in Boston with specific instructions as to medications specific diet needs. One medication wasn’t ordered until the second day. It is to stimulate my appetite. I get it at 4 pm and 7 am. Not ordered until the next morning. I asked for anything to eat until it got here as my last meal was in Boston at 2 pm and I needed to eat. I was told they didn’t know what I could have. I was finally handed a peanut butter sandwich. During all this I had the nurse in charge of me and the director yelling at me not allowing me to say anything and when I asked if I could speak I was told to be quiet and stop complaining. I have 6 drains between my stomach and back that require them to measure all output of each. They said they didn’t know anything about it and refused. The hospital sent a bag of the supplies for me to use at home when I get there and I showed it to them to prove I need and the still refused. The drain bags were full to the point they were ready to burst and no longer draining. They finally drained them but didn’t measure them. They filled again within a few minutes. These are draining from both kidneys and critical to my recovery. 4 days later I still have to beg to have them emptied. One side stopped draining for a few days as they finally found there was a crimp not letting the urine out. 2 days to figure that out. I can’t even see these as they come out of my back. Just before they found that the other side was ready to burst again. I have to have them help me to the bathroom and they emptied that one before I went in. In the few minutes in there it completely filled again. They require draining about every 2 hours. When trying to order things between the regular meals I was told by Steve the nurse then that I was only allowed snacks and nothing from the kitchen and also there was no phone that I can call the kitchen from. I asked if there was a list he said no. After speaking to the diatery supervisor he said the phone is in my room and they had many things to offer me. I asked Steve why he lied and he said he didn’t but it was my fault for not ordering the snacks he offered for and never mentioned the phone just out of my reach. I am suppose to be taking a medicine I was getting by IV at the hospital several times a day. I haven’t had an IV since my arrival and they don’t even know what the medicine is. I had to contact Brigham and they said I should be getting at least multiple oral doses daily. 4 days later and still waiting to get it. When ever you ask someone to do something the tell you they aren’t authorized and will send someone who is but no one is authorized or show up. The bed is too small and one was supposed to be be ordered 4 days ago but no one seems to be authorized. I could continue for days but bottom line is they lie, no one is responsible for anything. They are under staffed as it can take from 15 minutes to over an hour to respond to the call button. I would climb out the window and hitch hike in my Johnny to get away. If you or a famiy member require care you would be treated better at a fast food place. STAY FAR AWAY!!!
