This place should be shut down immediately or investigated asap. The state needs to step in and do something about the abuse and neglect of the patients at this rehab. SHUT IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT SEND YOU FAMILY HERE YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY REGRET IT

I truly believe that my ex passed away there out of neglect and dehydration. He was transferred from the VA and soondeveloped a swallowing problem. Due to advanced Parkinson’s, and declining vision, he was unable to drink or feed himself. It seemed to me, that if he didn’t have a visitor, he did not get fed or hydrated. He had not been there that long, and IMHO, that was what led to his death. Now I see they have changed the name of the facility.

I was there for three weeks in the rehab section. The actives department was just starting up after Covid. I found them to be very caring and concerned about the patients. Additionally I found the occupational staff and physical therapy department quite good. Nursing care is kind of hitor miss. They use alot of agency nurses that change alot so they can''t develop a working relationship with patients.. in summation if the patient is able to be their own advocate they place is OK.

This is the worse nursing home. I am 33 years old I got paralyzed and I had to stay there for 2 years I was the youngest person there. The neglect and abuse I seen there is on another level. One time I ask for finger gel and the lady told me there wasn’t none when there was because I seen her put it away. So I asked her wat was her problem she kept saying there was none. All her co workers had her back no matter if she was wrong or not. So they sent me off to a mental hospital for the night. Bcuz she wanted the ginger gel all to herself. Felt really bad for the older ppl there bcuz they would have bed sore and the nurses would leave the bandages on them for weeks so it made the place smell like somthing was rotten. There’s times where there handle patients to rough and they fall and break there hips. And when the person come by asking them wat happen they lie and say they fell off the bed. One time I got coffe n the coffee spelled on my left leg 3rd degree burns. My skin was literally pilling off. I had to had skin graph surgery. And another thing they all still together there like a big lieing family. They stick up for each other no matter if they right or wrong. I’m nt racist or anything because there are really nice Haitian ppl there but 80 percent of them steal from ppl there and really don’t want to do there job. I bet you if they did there job right and took patients in the shower it wouldn’t smell like p so much. Please do not let your family live there that place takes years off ppl make them die faster because of the neglect I seen it first hand. Don’t get me wrong there are great ppl working there but most of them all stick up for each other. Ivon is one of the best supervisor there and Rey. They are the ones that when people are wrong they would correct that

My ( late ) mother who was being treated at The Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton after having a small heart attack back in October 2020 was taken advantage of by hospital staff who somehow changed her Health Care Proxy, making a mess of things. She was shipped to The Norwood Health Care facility and put in a room with no TV, no phone and was not given a bath or shampoo for two weeks according to her. It took threat of legal action against them to get her discharged to come home and be cared for by a hospice team. She was able to walk when she left Good Sam 2 weeks later she could not stand up again, slipped into a coma and died a week later. I could write pages of material but after the experience with that place, I would not leave pets with them to care for even if only a weekend.
