Best nursing home I''ve ever seen, hands down. My father has been a resident here since 2017 and they take such good care of him I could tear up out of appreciation, and I am hardly an emotional person. They have such wonderful CNAs working here such as Paul who''s work ethic astounded me every time I saw him, or Tiffany, who carefully decorates his room for every season and holiday which truly adorns the atmosphere in his room and that''s barely even scratching the surface to the amount of care that he receives. Both my father and I deeply respect and appreciate this woman and she makes such an impactful difference in his life just by offering kindness and consideration. All of the staff employed at the facility is extremely friendly, professional and their is such a pleasant atmosphere throughout this facility. One of my favorite aspects of GlenHaven is that it is the cleanest facility I have encountered and I am an RN who has been working in nursing homes for 4 years. This one stands out. It''s actually a privilege to have my loved one here. I really appreciate all the love and care that he receives. We''re fortunate to have found this place. Both of us.

They treat African-Americans differently at this facility. My dad was in here and the Latino staff would neglect him only providing him with a bath on wed and sat and being that he is a recent paraplegic and senior citizen he suffered and it affected his mental health. But the Latino staff would give the Latino residents one everyday. As well as treat them with more care. They charged one particular resident $650 a month but charged him $7130 per month for the subpar care. The case manager wasn''t accommodating in any way whatsoever and when I tried to talk to her about coming up with a solution she was very dismissive. Not realizing that I have 10+ years of case management experience and work with the homeless population in the SF Bay Area and I know that she could have done more. They promised to repair his leg for a couple months and never did. They did not provide us with a temporary solution or give us a walker in order for us to transport him 6 hours north on highway 5 so he suffered and had to use his diaper. The only positive thing about this place is Nancy and all the Filipino staff. which we appreciate since we were six and a half hours north of him and could not check on him often during his stay there. I would not recommend this place if you have a family member and you aren''t close enough to check on them often especially if they are of African American descent. I guess equity isn''t what this place is about.
