I put down a check on Freedom Square of Seminole. I liked the size of it, the layout, and the location in the center of town. Their amenities are beyond belief. Any normal things are not charged extra. I'm going to have to have my dog bathed three days a week and I'm sure I'm going to have to pay for that, and that's fine. They don't charge you anything else. They provide the linens and towels. The complex inside is absolutely beautiful. It's so clean, shiny, warm, and had a receptive feeling. I didn't get to take a tour of the whole grounds, so I don't really know the whole layout, but from what I could see from the welcome station, it's just beautiful. We got through and somebody said something about what do we need and I said, "All I need is some ice cream." We were right there where the dining room starts and the kids were setting up for dinner that night. The tour director looked over and said, "Can you get her some ice cream?" I told them what kind I wanted. Two people that were with me told them what kind they wanted, and they brought us a big cup of ice cream and a spoon. They were just as gracious as they could be. It was wonderful. They have everything you can think of, a gym, a library, and an indoor heated saltwater swimming pool. They're just a couple of minutes from the beach, but it is not in an evacuation area. Once I talked to the lady at the office there, I didn't want to go anywhere else.

Freedom Square of Seminole was very, very nice all the way around. It's certainly a quality place. The thing I like the most is its top-notch quality across the board. It offers all four levels of care. The thing I didn't like as much about it is that it's a bit fragmented. There are various buildings. There's walking between buildings to get the functions. It would have been nice if it was under one building. They have various sizes of rooms. One of those sizes would have worked for us based on price.
Read moreI have lived here 4 years and am so pleased I made the decision to move here. Wonderful staff and lot's of friendly neighbors.
My husband and I moved to Freedom Square about 5 years ago at ages 74 and 75. We were so glad we moved here when we were still able to participate on the activities. The community is very friendly and welcoming as well is being a beautiful place to live.
My wife and I are pleased that we moved to Freedom Square where we are enjoying the many available campus activities. Our neighbors all seem to agree.
From the interview process to 4 months of residency, everything has exceeded our expectations. Staff has helped, and doctors, after moving her 1,000 miles. We looked at many Assisted Living facilities. Freedom Square heads above.
