I was very impressed with Fifth Season at Radcliffe Street. The residents appeared very, very happy and very well taken care of. The staff showed me the different types of rooms that were available, so I could compare, and she was very friendly. She showed me the exercise area and the dining area. The whole place was clean, and everything smelled great. It was spacious and easy to navigate through. If I had a walker or if I was using a wheelchair, everything was easily accessible. It just really looked homey, where you could relax.

My friend was at Fifth Season at Radcliffe Street. She has since passed away. What I liked most about it was the fact that there were nice little apartments in there for one person, plus more other people there that you could talk to because I tend to get lonely. There are people I could talk with and they're closer to my own age. Plus, they cooked for me, so I didn't have to do that myself. But I still had the ability to have something in my little apartment. I didn't see a whole lot of anything that I didn't like. That would be one of the places I would consider going into. They have a beauty salon that comes in and does the hair and stuff for them. They do their laundry. They help with room cleaning if we need that. They have community meals. If you have a car, you go anywhere you want to. You didn't have to stay confined to the facility. My friend seemed happy at the time. She had people she could talk to. Sometimes they had activities that she liked to be in with, but not always. She seemed pretty comfortable there. There's a lot of space in their dining area. It's a nice big area. They could do meals in there and they also do activities in there. It's a nice building, but the inside could use a little paint on the apartment doors and stuff because it's an older facility.

Fifth Season at Radcliffe Street was beautiful. They only had 20 residents. So it's much smaller, but it's also private pay. The lady that I talked to was the administrator and she gave me the information that I needed about the cost. They were very forthcoming, very nice, and very accommodating. The rooms were also very nice. We could get the apartment set up where my sister would still feel like she's at home. I ran into some of the residents in the hallways and they were all calm and seemed very happy there. They have a lot of activities. They have outings, exercises, and puzzles to keep them busy.
Read moreWe had a good tour experience with Fifth Season Residential. The main reason we did not go with them at the time was because they were limiting visitors and did not have any outside activities or entertainment coming in. It was due to covid so things may have changed since we toured.

Fifth Season at Radcliffe Street is very cozy and homey. We felt very welcomed, at home, and very comfortable there. The staff was very friendly. They introduced themselves as soon as we came in. The lady that does the admissions came in and met us. She was very informative. This was our first choice until we went to the other facility. We were told that the cook knows the residents' likes or preferences and cooks specifically for them. I didn't observe any activities, but they do have an activity schedule and things to do with the residents. They are very COVID-minded now that the restrictions are coming down, and they had no COVID in there. They did things with the residents, but they made it so that it wasn't a lot. The rooms vary. They are spacious and nice. They have different options available.
