I worked there for well over a year. The most amazing place ever to work for and have your loved one live. This community is about heart and the executive director Kim is amazing! I completely recommend working and living there!
Felicita is a clean and "newish" facility. Annuals escalations are steep. Raised fee 4 months after move in. Need to ask multiple times about keeping carpet clean. Medical team is responsive. Mom does not like the food. Not as expensive as some facilities, but newer. Front desk staff is lovely.

Felicita Vida is wonderful. It's a small community, but they offer a lot of assistance. So far, my mom is very happy there. She is in a nice-sized studio with a large bathroom, and a small kitchen that comes with a mini-refrigerator and a microwave. There's no stove or anything. All meals are prepared and we're just very happy with it. They have a movie every Sunday at 1:00 and then they have a happy hour every day at 3:00. They also do outside gatherings where they'll take residents to some of the local gardens, or they'll do sightseeing things, like they took them to the shores one time. Everybody there has been so nice and kind. She seems to like the food, too. The building itself is beautiful. It's relatively new.

My dad made a friend there. He loved it there. He really did. The rooms were a great size. They had cottages there, too. It's somewhere I'd want to go when I get to that age. It was plush, very luxurious, and very nice. It was a little on the pricey side. I think it was the most expensive one, but it's well worth it. They had a movie theater, happy hour, and all the activities that they do. It's amazing. The residents looked happy, not fake happy, but they looked genuinely comfortable to be there. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful. We met the coordinator, the director of the whole facility, and the activities director. They all took the time out of their busy day to come and say hello to us. It was very personal. The food was amazing. It was very good. It was wow.

Everything is included and the senses are so titillated at the very entrance of this facility. The expectation of all, staff and residents, is love and caring with every smile and greeting. All staff treated mom with so much love and caring that she appreciated those moments all the way to her last hours. Mom noticed that is was quiet and calm. All her needs were met with smiles and warmth.
