Stay away from this Facility! My father was in this facility for almost 4 months until I was able to get him removed and transferred to another facility before they killed him! The Nurse practitioner Heather is a liar and does not have a clue how to do her very important job. She lied about my father having chicken pox which caused us another 2 weeks stay before he could be transferred due to having to be quarantined! The end result to that issue was when the Doctor was called because I raised such a fuss stated he did not have chicken pox only a rash from his bed sores! (I guess she was hiding that fact). They claim the RN sees the patients and the Doctor sees them once a week that does not happen. They lie and cover it up. The Nurses, CAN’S, PT’S are so over worked and understaffed they cannot do their jobs. Needless to say, the administration’s policy on visitation was like our family member was in a prison. Only allowing us a half hour visit in the dirty cafeteria (so we could watch the nurses /staff smoke out the window). No place outside of the facility to sit with your loved one except the front area which is dirty also and not trying at all to make the families feel welcomed to be there to support the family. Appointments were first come first serve basis so good luck with that. When I had my father taken to the ER and they admitted him he was very bad shape and even the doctors and staff at the hospital hinted to me to move him out of there! I do want to mention Ms. Debbie at the front desk what a wonderful kind and patient person she is and has the worse job of having everyone yell at her because of this horrible facility.
