I can’t say enough about the exceptional quality of care afforded my 95-year old husband who entered the facility for rehab of a fractured hip. The facility is exceptionally clean and well kept. All the nurses and staff treat you like family. One example of kindness given to me was by Roshan, head nurse. I was stressed about my husband’s condition; she took me aside, wrapped her arms around me and comforted me at a time when I needed it most. Thank you Roshan. Then there is Ken, a nurse, who always finds time to answer questions to put me at ease. His professional nursing capabilities never cease to amaze me. Thanks, Ken, for all the shakes you gave my husband for extra nourishment. Manasi and Jean are the physical therapists who are so diligent, patient and very sympathetic in their endeavor to help my husband. They have gone above and beyond in trying to create a success. Haley is the social worker who is there for me in making future living plans for my husband. She Has given me resources and tools to make an appropriate decision. Then there is Gia, a nurse who is always accommodating, caring and empathetic; McKenzie who makes my husband smile every time he sees her. Last, but not least, is Shauri, an aide, who is an angel in disguise. She is the hardest worker. Without fail, she always administers fastidious care in cleaning and getting my husband ,who cannot stand, in and out of bed, a sometimes back-breaking feat without complaining.. She goes out of her way to make him comfortable no matter How many times he calls for help. She is a god-send and a definite asset to the facility. All the staff, nurses, nutritionists, aides, etc. are the unsung heroes that make Emerson Rehab a 5-star facility.
