Care, Comfort, and Compassion. This facility in three words. The nursing staff truly get to know their residents, and it’s very apparent that they love and care for them in their each individual way. The facility is extremely clean, and the rooms are the largest I’ve ever seen in this capacity. Having to go to a SNF is never ideal for anybody but having the means of feeling like home certainly helps. Lastly compassion, when my family and I were looking at potential placement for my father, we were provided a list of all facilities in our area. Our Social Worker suggested Emerald, which was the first good sign. As we were reviewing the list, it was oddly perfect timing for us to meet Jessica. She is the Hospital Liaison for Emerald, and what an light she was to our family. She walked in the hospital room, introduced herself, and immediately started to help our family feel at ease. She answered our questions, and we got a true sense that she loved her job and everything involved in it. Her and my father became fast friends, and he said if he was 60 years younger she would be in trouble. I felt a true sense of connection with her, and ultimately our decision was made on her interaction with our family. We look forward to being a part of this facilities family, and are hopeful that we can get our fathers strength up so he can come home.

Was NOT given medications she need. Was NOT given IV medications she needed. Was NOT given other medical care she needed. RUN from this facility!!!! The staff is completely incompetent!!!! They simply DO NOT care whatsoever. Many of the nursing staff there has attitude problems. Aside from the attitudes they severely neglect their clients. I encourage anyone that has a relative in this facility to immediately seek elsewhere to have their relative transferred. Please anyone do your research upon choosing what facility to place your loved one for medical care, recovery etc…

Looking for a nursing home is both daunting and overwhelming. It’s something that nobody ever prepares you for, but I’m grateful that I connected with Jessica Williamson. She met my mother in law at the hospital when doing an assessment for entry. She was so knowledgeable of the industry, pleasant, and just a true sweetheart. She made us all feel comfortable from the moment she walked in the door. We ended up dealing with Ursula in admissions for that actual process, and have been extremely pleased with not only the communication, but most importantly the care that has been received for my mother in law. Great job to this team! While I hope her rehab stay is short, I’m still grateful for the help she’s received thus far.

I have had my mom here at this facility for rehab. She has received excellent care from the nurses and aides. They have gone above and beyond to take care of her. The nursing staff has been excellent in communicating with me about any changes or new orders that have occurred. The doctors are great about reaching out with any concerns they may have. And have made sure to follow up with any labs or referrals that were needed for her care.
