The value for cost is hard for me to answer I think for the cost there would be more included in the price but I do know they are competitive in pricing. Plus weekends are real boring for them. I feel sorry for people who don't have family. Over all I was happy

My mother has moved into Elderwood Village at Vestal. So far, so good. They seem friendly and caring, so far for the first week. The room is nice. However, they don't clean the bathroom like they should, and the shower is dirty. The bathrooms are not kept up. I ate there the first day we moved my mother in, and the food was good. I've been there a couple of times for lunch with my mother, and the food looked good. It's better than hospital food. They play bingo. My mother is doing crafts, and she seems happy. The facility looks clean. The maintenance guys do a decent job, but housekeeping is a one. They are updating the facility and putting in new flooring. Half of the floor is done already. They are putting down the rest of the new floor, and it looks beautiful.

The systems in place at Elderwood Village at Vestal seem arbitrary to me / inconsistent. Also, the meals sometimes are less than satisfactory.

I went to Elderwood Village at Vestal. I thought the common spaces were very comfortable. It had a stimulating environment for my aunt, which was important to me. I thought the staff was friendly and interested. I thought that the rooms were decent, plain, but decent. It was fine. The common areas were what I was most interested in, so I could see what it would be like for her to join people in the common areas.
