Edmonds Landing Assisted Living: Premier Senior Living Outside Seattle
Edmonds Landing Assisted Living is a place for older adults to settle in and branch out. A typical day might go like this — morning coffee at Bistro Station, a Wii bowling tournament in the activities room, some pampering at the salon, a book in the library and laid-back nights listening to the grand piano. The SPARK daily activities program has a little something for everyone: arts and crafts, baking demonstrations, Book Club, coloring day and cooking classes, to name a few. Every day is truly a celebration, but birthdays and holidays are a special treat. For instance, at Halloween, residents dress up and head downtown to hand out candy to kids from the community bus (they’re known for giving out the biggest candy bars every year)!
Edmonds is a small, vibrant community nestled along the breathtaking Olympic Mountain Range. The locals here love to say, “An Edmonds Kind of Day” because there’s so much to do in Edmonds. Brackett’s Landing North offers walks along the Puget Sound, downtown Edmonds boasts quaint shops, the Edmonds Center for the Arts hosts all sorts of events and the Edmonds-Kingston Ferry takes residents to the stunning Olympic Peninsula.
Edmonds Landing Assisted Living: Live Independently
Edmonds Landing Assisted Living offers independent living and assisted living. Independent living residents benefit from stellar amenities, a rich activities program, gourmet dining options and a maintenance-free lifestyle — housekeeping, repairs, laundry and meals are all included.
Those in the assisted living program enjoy all of these perks, plus 24/7 assistance with whatever they need to feel independent. That might include everything from medication management to help with daily personal care activities like bathing, grooming, dressing and getting around the community.

We had a really good tour of Edmonds Landing. I like the location, it was right near the downtown, the amenities, and the activities. They have a great dining room and food service. The person who showed me around was very pleasant, but the staff wasn't quite as interactive as they were with the other place I toured. I didn't like the layout as much, but it's still alright. They had a salon, exercise activities, they have a special menu and they also have a courtyard. Everything was clean, neat, and tidy. It's near some restaurants, the hospital is about four or five miles away. They had good-sized bedrooms, even their studio sizes were pretty good.

Edmonds Landing is a coastal community and it's friendly. They have adequate but small kitchens and the staff was really helpful. The people there were having lunch and that's what we saw. Their dining area is adequate, they have a chef and take some pride in it. They have a patio and courtyard but they're pretty limited in size. It's very urban, very city oriented, so it's not spacious, but comfortable.

Edmonds Landing is a small community. There's assisted living and independent living together in one place, which I really liked. It's not just a bunch of assisted living people together or independent living together, but they live as one community. They have a lot of really nice outdoor spaces, and their dining room is beautiful. My mom's not there yet, but they've been very conscientious about gathering all of the information needed to care for her and meet all of her needs. They communicated with her doctor and spoke directly to her when we visited on Wednesday to find out exactly what she wanted and what she was expecting. The apartments are very nice. All of them are very, very clean. They have all have new carpet and new paint. My mom's moving into a one-bedroom, and it's very nice and very spacious. She's in a wheelchair about 80 percent of the time. It's very nice too that she can get around in her apartment in her wheelchair. There are beautiful gardens with tables and seating for people to go out, sit, and enjoy the different areas. The gardens and the plants are beautiful and look like they really keep up the gardens. They are landscaped very nicely. My mom has a really nice view of the garden and a pretty pink magnolia tree out of her bedroom window. It's just really pretty. Everybody that we've met has been wonderful.

Right when we walked into this community we knew this was the perfect place for our loved one. Everybody there is friendly, very helpful and they give our loved one way more attention than the previous community she was at. Our loved one is eating all the meals so we have to assume that she is happy with the meals. She is still adjusting but we do know they have a lot of activities for the residents, and she does enjoy going to the happy hour every Friday. Also the location is much closer to our family which makes it much easier for us to visit 2-3 times a week.
