As a former employee, I enjoyed my time at Edgemere working as the Lifestyles Manager in The Plaza. The staff in all areas are friendly, polite, and deeply knowledgeable. My joy came from making those connections with residents and their families daily in all levels of care. I also had the opportunity to gain experience from the nursing team on the third floor, they are all rock stars in my book (Rhonda, Kelly, Sankara, Edith, Edna & Nayely)! I have worked for other CCRC’s before, and although they are great and wonderful too, Edgemere has a higher level of making your experience rememberable. If you are not sure about Edgemere, visit them and ask for a tour, you will not regret it!

Mom and dad lived at the Edgemere for more than 15 years and were very happy, especially in their apartment. They enjoyed the amenities and the friends they made over the years especially among the staff.

The nurses, doctors,the therapists (physical and memory) were always knowledgeable and helpful. The Administrator Randy Langford made us feel welcome and comfortable from day one. Unfortunately the holidays were an awful time to schedule respite care for my father. 90% of staff/nurses had rude attitudes and zero ownership for task completion…….passed even quick simple things off to someone else or didn’t bother completing. UPDATE: Edgemere’s Administrator has been very responsive and concerned with our issues. He has been in contact with myself and my Dad through correspondence and by phone. I do appreciate the actions he took to address our issues.
