I called several times before his transfer to see if his PRESCRIPTION would be ready when he arrived. I was Told YES but not t for his pain meds but that had backup and they would handle it. NOTHING was ready. Then his NURSE THREATENED him while I was standing there saying he will have to pay for everything himself if he left. NIT TRUE he is a VETERAN and I was told to have him removed and sent to an ER since they weren''t providing MEDICAL treatment.

My husband spent time at the Eden Rehab and Health Center for some rehabilitation after a fall, he was blessed to have caring therapy and nursing staff. Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and he was treated with care and respect. While he was there he participated in playing bingo with some of the men and ladies there, it was a treat to watch and listen to them while playing. They take their bingo seriously! We were strangers when we got there, but when he left, we had made some new friends. Thank you Eden Rehab and Health Center!!

Had a family member at the Brian Center in Eden for 6 months. I have seen animals in shelters treated better. This facility smells of urine the minute you walk into the building (unless it is inspection day). My father had 2 primary nurses that cared for him. One was kind and compassionate while the other was a nightmare. On one of my visits, my father had asked for assistance getting to the restroom. After waiting 45 minutes (documented by a visitor), he soiled his pants. When the nurse arrived, she pulled so hard on his undergarment that he hit his head on the wall behind his bed. It was so loud that we heard it standing outside the room and heard him yell, "ouch". It took every bit of self control not to report this facility but I feared my father would suffer further humiliation at the hands of his caretakers. If possible, find your loved one a place in Greensboro or another facility in the area. This experience was heartbreaking for my entire family.
