Overall we had a very good experience with Discovery Village, everything was brand new, it was clean and the decoration were very nice. We thought the attitude of the staff was just outstanding. It was one of the nicer communities we had looked at and it was reasonably priced. Our loved one would say the meals are really good and even though he did not participate in the activities they did have plenty of things to do. We would recommend this community to other families based on our experience

The transportation if you do not tell them 3 weeks in advance, you will not be driven. There is also a 2 hour wait to be picked up. I am not happy here - they do not care about the residents. If you need to go to a doctor, someone with a nail appointment or hair appointment will beat you out. 90% of the movies they show are 40 to 50 years old. A lot of people are unhappy and leaving. The only thing I like here is the apartment, it is beautiful. They never change the menu, it is the same thing always. If you own a dog do not move here. You cannot go from your apartment to the elevator without a stroller. In the restaurant they run out of all sorts of things, simple things that should be there at all times. It is horrible. They do not have enough staff so sometimes you have to wait up to an hour and a half to be served your meals. The concierge services are very good, they will bring your packages up. They are also good at fixing things.

Our loved one is not a fan of the dress code for dining and there is even talk about making the dress code more stringent.
