Priority/Sky Active is the new management/ owner. They gave us a lot of lip service at first, with no follow-through. They raised our rent at least 200.00 /month, and next year will be the same. For my 6 years, that''s 1200.00 just in increases. We have one very old elevator that is breaking down over and over. We only have one elevator for 3 floors. It will continue breaking down because they won''t put in a new one. You should see the silverware they just bought. It''s the cheapest I''ve ever seen. The food has been borderline yuck. We just got a new chef, so we''ll see. There are some good things that keep me here. The people are the best part of Sterling Court, both management and residents. The activities are good. The maintenance is fairly good. Sterling Court looks nice.

We moved in during covid so staff shortages were at their highest and is still an issue today but not as bad. Also, after only two years, we are on manager number four and the company just sold. Do not know impacts of sale just yet.

Holiday Sterling Court offered me an affordable place. It was within my budget, but the one room (it was not a one-bedroom) was so small. I couldn't see myself living there for the rest of my life. I liked the people there the most. The tour guide was extremely, extremely accommodating. She had a car sent over for me (because I can't drive) to pick me up, bring me over there, and bring me back. She tried very hard to accommodate me to my preferences. We had pork sandwiches there and the whole meal was just very, very different and very cold. It wasn't hot. The only thing that tasted half decent was the pork sandwich, but they had very little pork in it. It was mostly sauce. It was just so-so. They offered everything, including transportation, a hair salon, a pool, a library, and an activities room. It's an older place, but everything was there and the people were nice.

Most of the staff members are great, but every now and then you can see the ugly come out! My only care is the housekeeping and because of staff shortages there have been long outages in service a few times. When it comes to the meals and dining service this one I could write a book on - food usually is not hot - not on an old persons schedule for meal service - feel like being herded to the slaughter at such set times - at times need larger portions to get full! - can order but don't always get - just quit going & ordering food in to fix or already fixed. The activities are picking up since [name removed] started working here - mostly the same boring schedule day after day - glad I get to play poker. I am buying my own food and a single window size A/C unit for the entire apartment which is a 1 bedroom unit
