I transferred my brother here in May, 2022. He was hospitalized while at another facility. He was malnourished and severely dehydrated. Within a month, he was showing improvement. While no site is 100% perfect, MOST staff members have the dedication needed to care for their residents. This place is not fancy, no bells and whistles, but the results of caring and compassion are evident. Thank you.

My mom has been in this facility over a year. She is very happy and comfortable with all the nursing personnel. They all care and treat the patients as family. Nursing staff are consistently checking on patients and at times they go by just to say hello. My mom''s health has improved and her involvement with daily activities is more consistent. Even though the building is in need of remodeling the care that is given is what matters. Nurses are happy and their compassion is obvious. Thank you all for keeping our loved ones safe not just during this pandemic and for taking care of my mom and the patients as you do❤

Terrible facility! Unfortunately we had a family member that needed assistant care. Norma, which I assume is either the manager there or something along those lines, sweet talked us into admitting our family member into this facility. First of all, the nurses do not care for your beloved family member. They leave them soiled for hours and they ignore their calls. Complaints were made promptly and they failed to address any of them. On another note, the hospital told us that our family member would require assistance at a care facility for atleast a month and Norma told us that everything would be taken care of. They failed to go over a treatment plan with us so we never knew what their plan of action was for rehabilitation. They failed to go over insurance benefits with us so we assumed that our family memeber was set to stay at this facility for a minimum of one month. Maybe it was a rookie mistake, but Norma knew that we had never been in this situation before so we had NO idea what to expect. Two weeks later our family member was being kicked out of the facility because they stated insurance would no longer pay and he would become self-pay. This was news to us because, again, they never went over insurance coverage. They FAILED to give us enough notice to make adjustments to our family members house and they discharged him without making sure that he was provided with the proper equipment to SAFELY care for him at home. Norma simply told us that the insurance would cover a hospital bed and some toiletries but since she did not give us notice of discharge in a timely manner, our family member had no other option but to go home without any of this. According to Medicare, the way this was handled was illegal so we will 100% be looking into this!

Everything that has to do with medical in Del Rio is a complete joke, and this place is no exception. We have a family member that is supposed to be taken care of here and we trusted this place to do so. He sits in his bile and urine with no concern to be changed. No one is helping him do his PT and they basically kicked him out. No one ever mentioned that he was only staying for 20 days.... And what do they say after the 20 days? That they''re charging us $100 a day....and he wasn''t even there for 20 days!! If you can, take care of your loved ones and save yourself the time, money, and stress. How can these people be so inconsiderate for someone like this???! I''m sure if the tables were turned they''d be lighting the place up.
