As a past employee at cypress, I can say the facility looks clean but as far as treatment towards their employees and a few observations from seeing how staff treat the residents when family is not around I have a few things to share on. I have received verbal complaints from residents and have observed CNAs telling residents to stop screaming and they can wait to get in bed for night shift. Residents needs as far as being changed would often get neglected dut to staff only doing the required 2 changes a shift. I have walked into work where residents beds are soaked with urine and feces because night shift didn''t "want" to change them. I experienced the facility being shortstafffed at times and residents needs being neglected due to the staff not being present. On a personal regard, me as well as few other employees who are 23 or younger were often nit picked and disrespected. I would often be told, "I understand your too young to truly know what I''m telling you" , "your so young, you sure you can handle this job", etc. My administrator stephanie m. Would often call me into her office to discuss alot of "problems" after gathering a list of them and then writing me up rather than pointing them out the same day so I could better improve my work performance. I was then assigned to a certain hall to work with a CNA who was always running off the floor and disappearing and always on her ohone, never wanting to help. I was left with wandering her call lights and provide care to her residents as well as mine. My little "problems" were noticed and addressed, but other employees who are on their phones, running of the floor, walking around the building, not changing their residents when they ask to be changed, not getting residents up just because they didn''t want to, etc. Was not addressed even ik the slightest. The only residents who j can say get full care are the residents who have family come in on a daily basis.

My dad is at Cypress for rehab after a week in the hospital. A friend referred my family to this facility. The staff is very professional and friendly. My dad has only been there a couple of days, but I am very impressed and would recommend to anyone.
It’s always a lovely experience going to Cypress Village for any reason. The staff is friendly and helpful, the place is always clean and well appointed with lovely grounds and plantings, and patients are well cared for and happy.

I checked in Cypress Village on the evening of March 13 after a 10day stay at a hospital I received a short notice of discharge but had been assured by the Admissions staff at Cypress Village that they were prepared and waiting for my arrival. Upon my arrival around 7pm I was greeted by the day shift nurse who promptly ask me if I had dinner which I replied no and she said nothing to worry about as my dinner would meet me in my room. Soon after as I was eating dinner the night shift nurse came in and proceeded to explain how the night would flow. She was very informative and apologized for having to have me wait as she got the shift started Today as I''m receiving physical and occupational trement on a short term basis I could not be more pleased with my decision to make Cypress Village my short term home. From the next day until today I have met with everyone in leadership and those that are not and have received outstanding care helpfulness non stop. I could not be more happier with the treatment and care I have and continue to receive. I truly thank God for this landing after my long hospitalization stay. James Jimerson,
