My wife needed to be here for some months. She had a stroke and had Parkinson’s. She came to facility unable to eat or walk, the therapy team went above and beyond even bring a new innovative machine that she was able to train and walk on! She walked for the first time in 3 years, and I got to spend so much time with her as well as my daughter and grandkids. The staff made sure i got to eat while there and gave me pointers to take care of her at home. My wife had no skin issues but had a risk because of her movement and nutrition so the administrator worked with nursing to prevent any wounds with a specialized mattress and plan. She never got any problems the whole 4 months of being there. There were issues but ultimately the staff that saw her day to day face to face really cared. She would have never got such great therapy anywhere else!!!! Some of the great CNAs included Verda, Takisha, and Valerie. The business office manager, Tiffany, took time explaining insurance stuff to me even though it was Greek before she was able to help. I also can’t say enough kind words about a 3-11 nurse named Wanda who treated my wife with kindness and medicines and encouraging words to keep trying and hugs. Cashundra a nurse there during the day made my wife laugh and they had a special friendship. This was like family in a difficult time. I even walked in a couple times as a nurse Mary was praying with my wife. Truth be told, If this was possible in an older building, I bet the new building on Wimple Road will be glorious!

This is one of the worst. They had a hand in my mothers death, but because nothing was written down in her records we could not do anything. When a wound vac falls off and it smells like rotting flesh in their room, and no nurse would do anything about it until the wound nurse comes in the next day because she is the only one who has a key, then we have a problem with care. She went sepsis and died. And we were there every day. Watch your loved ones very closely because their death can happen right under your noses.
