If the head nurse of 40 yrs there talks to family members the way he did me that shows you he treats his staff the same way. The patients there do not have phones in there for a reason. elder abuse!! Very Sad 😔
This facility lacks communication with family members. No information was given to us after my aunt passed away. They took two days to call us. They did not provide information regarding her pre-arrangements. In addition, they made it very difficult to visit our loved one. Would not recommend.
The place are good but the administrator is rude to the staff & DSD Daniel are racist, that why there no Indian work at the facility haha… now you lose a lot of staff.

This place, formerly Pleasant View Convalescent, years ago, was from what I learned a beautiful well established, reputable facility, however due to economics, the private owners weren''t able to sustain it. It then was purchased by its current huge corporation within a corporation. The only reason it is still providing as best it can, are the former employees who continue to work there because of their devotion to the residing patients that have been there for many years. The former company took great care of the patients and staff, allowing for awesome care and comradery. I was familiar with the place and amongst many other employees and patients. It became just like the current standards of care from corporate owned nursing homes for profit, milking the medicare system and when care was exaggerated for monetary gain. Oh, the push on marketing to rake in the rapport with acute hospitals to gain those medicare patients discharging to SNFs (skilled nursing facilities) for medical rehabilitation. There I''ve said it in a nutshell. This is the truth. Thank you to our government and corporations for passing the for profit health care system of California or the USA....
