They allow pets. That was nice, too. They had a lot of fun activities and a great dining room (they call it a restaurant) and everything was nice. The rooms were really good. We liked that. They were spacious. The staff was also very nice and very helpful. They have dining from 7 to 8. They have mailboxes for their residents and a nursing staff. It was a good place.

Cottonwood Creek had some construction going on, so it was a little bit hard in the lobby. I didn't like the layout of the studio room that we looked at because the kitchen was tucked in a corner, like an afterthought. It had a refrigerator, a microwave, and a sink. But I liked the idea of walking out of your patio on the ground level if you have a pet. The person that showed me around didn't know much of anything because the salesperson was not there.

Read moreWe had a really good tour experience with Cottonwood Creek. The reason we decided against this facility was just due to the bigger size, we wanted a place with less residents.

I've lived here over a year. Constantly understaffed. Med techs and assistants are good. We have a new nurse for the facility as of a couple months ago. Previous nurse constantly was late with providing us with refills. Constantly late with refills leaving us residents to go without. I'm not aware if that's been resolved. With written instructions! They don't seem to mind if they ruin your clothing. Hallway and dining room are at 78 degrees or hotter. Dining room understaffed, service is slow. Half the time 30-45 minutes to take your order. Then 30 minutes to an hour to receive your food. Half the time it's cool. Heaven forbid if you wish to ask for anything in the meantime such as butter... After a surgery, no shower assistance. They'll just leave you hanging. Even though ask for additional service before, after the surgery, then it's a big No. It's the management that provides less than quality service. Though everyone is friendly. It's odd.
