Copper Creek Senior Living was pretty good. I like the fact that there are washers and dryers in every room. You don't have to go down the hall to do your laundry. The rooms were pretty good sized. Some of them had been renovated. I saw one that had just recently been renovated. The CNAs were there 24 hours a day. If someone fell, there's somebody there to pick them up. They have a pretty nice theater room and an exercise room. They have a very nice family gathering area that's connected to a big balcony. The staff said they were going to put garden planter boxes out there, so that was nice. The view wasn't so great. The staff who toured me was great. They have doctors that would come in.

Please really look into this place. The activities director is amazing and has been there since the Sheraton opened. Anthology took over about a year ago. The activities are the only consistent good thing about this place. It is a beautiful building but it should not be listed as an assisted living facility. Management is unwilling to make changes claiming it is all staffing issues. It is their responsibility to see that these residents are well taken care of. We experienced almost a year of neglect and it got to the point that we were forced to move our 98 yr old loved one to a new facility where we know she will be taken care of. We went to visit her almost daily and were able to document the neglect including not having access to her call button. Soiled briefs left in the closets. Soiled bed sheets being left on the bed. Food and water not being provided. The thermostat being turned down dangerously low even though there was a very large sign above it to leave at an agreed upon temperature. Unnecessary life saving measures (aggressive sternum rub) being performed even though we repeatedly said she had a DNR. Again this place should not be marketed as an assisted living place. There is not a nurse constantly on staff. As soon as we were able to get to know the aids, they leave. Keep in mind we paid over $4k a month.

I really liked Anthology of South Jordan, but they were more expensive than the others. The facility was probably the best facility that I visited. One of the things that I liked is the fact that they had motion sensors in the halls and bedrooms. If a resident got up in the middle of the night, they would be informed and go check on them. I liked that element of it. They were doing an activity when I was there. They were doing a raffle, and it looked fun. I thought the people that I met were nice. They had a good staff. The only reason I didn't choose that one was because it was expensive, and I felt like my money wouldn't last very long. Otherwise, I would've taken that one. The rooms were nice looking. The facility was actually fairly new and in great shape.

My husband had Alzheimer’s. The care he received was less than professional. After a week of him being in there they shut down so that we cannot go in and see him. Because of Covid. He needed help with everything teeth bathroom facilities shower and getting dressed. His hair was never cut they didn’t shave him he had a full beard the. hair and his nose look like he had a beard coming out of his nose. He was soiled when we’d come to visit him through the window. He looked like he was never taken care of properly and I know he wasn’t .They mixed up his pills .the young man that was in charge of it was only 18 years old he would call me and ask me what pills he was supposed to take. Half the time he didn’t even have his dentures in his mouth and never use the liners that I sent for him to put in his teeth. I could go on and on so many problems. He had to go to the hospital with a UTI and when he returned with the ambulance the doctor gave him a prescription in a brown envelope ,because I saw it .I was at the hospital with Him, after returning to the care Center three days later I called to see if they got the prescription for him and they said they didn’t see a prescription. I know he had one because I saw the doctor put it in an envelope and put it on the bed before they put him in the ambulance to take him back to the care center. He was in the care center a total of six months and in six months he lost 40 pounds. There’s so many more things that happened while he is in there I could go on and on. I would never recommend this place to anyone. And I’m sorry it took me so long to write this review but the more I thought about it the more upset I was and decided to let people know what kind of Care center it was. When I took him there they assured me that he would be part of their family and they would take good care of him. I lost him seven weeks later.

The staff are great to work with if I have any questions or concerns. The food has not been consistent for the residents and there has been long waits. I believe the have had staffing issues in the dining room.
