Beyond frustrated; there is no staff on duty! You take a patient from the hospital who cannot get out of bed on their own to a place where there is no staffing. She is not getting any response from press the red button and a phone call was made to the facility with no results.

i work in geriatric care so i tend to be more critical of facilities than the average person but i have to say that the staff and location are absolutely amazing. a moment that stood out to me recently is an employee in the activities department named Carmen sat with my grandma for hours helping her organize her jewelry to send to me for christmas (unfortunately she can’t wear earrings anymore, so she wanted me to have them). it was all so perfectly packaged and you can tell by the care that it was made with love. i still can’t believe all the effort she put in. people like this are hard to come by and i really hope she receives the praise she deserves. my grandma misses being independent so to have somebody so kind and patient help her for a long period of time means the world to my family. i’ve also had very positive experiences with the other staff but i don’t remember their names (sorry!) The buildings are exceptionally clean. i am very appreciative of their work and i’m happy my grandma is living in such a loving and caring environment. in my professional experience, transitioning somebody from ILF to ALF is difficult for everybody involved. it’s not an easy job but this extra effort is highly commendable. i feel so comfortable having my grandma under their care.

I was a previous employee and this place is a horrible place to work at. It is racist the nurses treat dietary and housekeeping like trash. Only a very few aides do there jobs. And they never get disciplined for it. They have snotty attitudes and a lot of the residents are afraid to press their buttons because of what the aides might say. I do not recommend working here or sending your loved one here. The campus is beautiful but the people that work in it is ugly

I am sad that I have to write this review. I worked for CAS/CLM twice now. The first time I worked for them(2018), they were an amazing company and you genuinely felt like the company cared about you and you were part of a family. When I worked there from March to end of June in 2022 the company has totally changed its views and no longer cared for its staff. When i left in June, i was supposed to receive a pay increase for not partaking in insurance on my last check.. The didnt pay me for my this or for my PTO. Every time I reached out(to payroll, hr, or others in management) I was sent to voicemail and my calls were never returned. I had to call in constantly and beg for my hard earned money. It is now August 1st and I still am owed money. I am not the only staff member they have shorted on pay upon exiting the company. They were aware that I was having surgery shortly after I left and that this money was going to pay my bills. They claim to be a Lutheran Christian company, yet dont show Christian values anymore. This is just one of the multiple negative things I had to deal with while there.. I do not recommend working for this company.
