My husband''s been in this facility for over a year. This place should be shut down. It'' the worst in the DMV. His clothes are missing and the rooms are horrible. I would never refer anyone to this facility. Staff is very cordial, but they are overworked.

He was in the hospital for 2 months and fell twice but he was walking then! Somebody hit my father in his head when he was in their facility that’s not a fall from hitting the floor! The staff was always rude! I overheard one nurse calling a patient a b;:$& and telling her to put the walker in front of her one more time watch what happens! When my father allegedly hit his head at this facility they wanted to up his haldol instead of getting him checked out at the hospital…my father was coming in to get rehabilitation for a bleed in his brain.

My mother is there has been for about 2 months she is supposed to be getting therapy because of a mild stroke she had , it took 2 weeks or so to get her a wheelchair and to find her a tv because looking at them prison looking walks would have drove her crazy so we had to keep on them about those situations, although the staff that deal with her floor seem alright the place is still not keep well or clean as it could be , I haven’t been in touch with a case worker yet and have left a message , half of the time no one can locate the lift so that my mother can be put in her chair instead of laying in the bed all day. The meals they get are not what’s on the little paper you get , the laundry takes a long time to come back and sometimes all of the do not.The only drink they receive is water , coffee or tea not hot the food is not hot either. They don’t have a van that transports patients should the require it. The funds seem to be mismanaged some way because they run out of diapers, linen wash rags etc. This place really need a work over and someone to come in and really give love to this place with starting from scratch the fact that they do Covid texting on visitors and patients is remarkable that’s why I did give it 3stars , but everything else is a no like I said the staff is that I’ve encountered is courteous. Someone really need to look into where the funding is going. To have chicken served just about everyday the same way and powdered mash potatoes almost everyday has no nutritional value , there definitely need to be a nutritionist in the premises to them a better way of cooking and not just throwing things together that’s tasteless as if your just disposing of pantry or refrigerated foods near or on the use by date.
