If we were going to find a place for my mom, then Clearwater at Rancharrah would be our choice in terms of memory care. It was a very clean and welcoming environment with access to a nice outdoor area. The clients seemed happy. The staff were friendly to their clients from what we could see. The rooms were clean, newly built, really nice, and well-maintained. The dining area seemed easily accessible, clean and a welcoming environment. Some clients were watching TV and playing some games.

I like that Clearwater at Rancharrah had a very upbeat vibe to it. There was a little more modern contemporary feel to it. The staff was very professional. They had physical therapy and OT right there on the premises that I liked. They had a movie theater, which I thought was nice. There's a salon, and that looked nice. It was so clean and new, and my mother would like that. It's a good location, too.

Our tour at Clearwater at Rancharrah was good. I liked the décor, and the stetting was nice. But it was expensive.

We went to Clearwater at Rancharrah. We toured the assisted living and memory care. It's very nice. The memory care facility was pretty and very impressive. The apartments were very nice. The staff was very knowledgeable and very caring. She was great. I t's a brand new facility, so it's impressive. It doesn't really need any maintenance because it's brand new. It's really nice. The memory care was above average. When we were there, they were having them tie dye. It seems like the memory care community was being very active and not a lot of people were stuck in their room. That was probably the most positive thing about it. Their dining area looked really nice. They showed us menu, and it looked good.

So far my loved one likes it. She really loves her caregivers. They're so caring and sweet. But it's not the most organized facility. They lock up at 8 pm, and we've had trouble getting someone to let us back in. I think they're understaffed due to Covid and having a hard time hiring people. My loved one is also not thrilled with the food. They try to do a lot of fancy dishes, but sometimes it's good to have more normal, basic meals. I know there are some residents who really like the food though, so it just depends on your tastes. There's not that many activities, and they'll do strange things like start showing a TV series in the middle of the series, so you're lost if you haven't already been watching. The bar isn't open yet, and they don't even have their liquor license yet. We've voiced some of our concerns with them, but they haven't seemed all that receptive. It's not as great here as I thought it was going to be. All of the infrastructure is there, but they just haven't found their stride yet. Again, a lot of that could be due to Covid.
