Absolutely terrible, borderline elder abuse and negligent. Staff doesn''t pay attention to medications, extremely rude to patients, mix up charts, medications and inconsiderate. Visitation rules seem to change depending on who is asked.
Terrible! A family member has been there for a very long time and they literally just let her lay there until she had bed sores. She wanted to get up and they made her lay down. She had an alarm so they knew if she tried to get up. After so long of keeping her down she lost the ability to get up and they will to get up. Whenever I call to try to talk I never get to talk to her, they just leave you on hold and never come back.

My mom was there for one month for physical therapy. When she first got there she was able to walk a little after hip surgery. 1 month later she is at home with hospice and home care. She left there so weak she couldn''t sit up, the food is horrible and she has an infected sore from not being turned and bathed. She left in much worse condition.

Three stars (not less) because some of the caregivers cared and the place is kept clean. Food on rare occasions was decent. Never got my diet likes and dislikes correct. A few caregivers should find different jobs. 4 beds share 1 bathroom. Rooms are so small it is difficult to maneuver with a wheelchair. Low ceilings make it always dark. Hallways usually very noisy (staff) at all hours. The TVs have the only speakers in the TV so for most the volume is loud. I don''t know how 2 people watch 2 different TVs at the same time. I liked the therapists but I had to advocate for the therapy I was told I would get. Too many times an hour of therapy turned into 15 minutes. Luckily I worked on my own. I understand during COVID things are abnormal and I thank everyone who cared for me. However I cannot reccomend this place.

I’m writing this as a current patient. I will update this review if things improve but I want to be very clear. I feel like when choosing a place for your loved one you should have the best and most current information. My mom was admitted on Sat . I have met one person who works here. It’s like a ghost town trying to find anyone to help. The girl at the front desk has been on her phone every time we’ve passed. W hen a guest asked what room my mom had been moved to she just shrugged her shoulder and said to check the dining room. My moms information had not been updated. She’s diabetic and lactose intolerant and they for five meals continue to give her chocolate ice cream, super sugar filled lemonade , milk and foods that are compromising to her health just on a basic level for diabetes . The lobby is really pretty and after that is where it ends. On the north west side of the building staff come in and out of a door that’s slams shut, enough to rattle windows but not one staff goes through the door with care each person slams it behind them. Nurses frequently yell outside patient rooms, as well as the noise in general being at a level 9. Patients scream from about 5 till 10 and I just watched a fight with three nurses trying to wrangle a screaming lady. I’m staying late here because I honestly don’t feel comfortable leaving my mom here. If it’s your only choice I can understand do what you can to make the room as homey feeling as possible and bring your loved one with some headphones. And just know your are going to have to be very vocal about the care of your loved one. I hope things change here but as it stands now I am looking for another place for my mother. I don’t know how you’re supposed to get better in this environment.
