After 9 or 10 days at this facility I check myself out. I had lost 14 pounds in 5 days and no one cared. After nights of beating on the walls with my cane to get someone to help me and employees who would raise their voices and challenge my authority when asked to leave my room with their abuse. No one cared. Everyday something unbelievable would happen and they just didn''t care. As a veteran I can only hope that no other vet would have to go thru what I experienced. I understand they are in bankruptcy and maybe some change will come but until then, STAY AWAY.

Chipola Health and Rehabilitation was heaven sent. My mom was a resident for 5.5 months and the staff was exceptional. After months of only being able to see mom on the porch due to Covid-19, we were finally allowed in just over a month before she passed away. The place was spotless. Mom smelled clean and well cared for. Whenever anything happened with mom, we received a call. If we had an issue, Cara resolved it immediately. If we had billing questions, Tammy answered. The day to day team knew mom by name and treated her with respect and love. We have never had to deal with a nursing home before so our experience is zero but Chipola set the bar pretty high. Thanks for being there for mom. With Respect!

If you have to place a loved one here go in daily, varying times and check on them.
