My son has been at Centerburg Respiratory and Specialty Rehab for almost a year. He needs 24/7 care. This is his home now and I can''t say enough good things about the nurses and the care he gets. I feel completely at ease as far as his care and his mental state are concerned. They are also great at contacting me when needed. The building is clean and well taken care of. Thank you!

anyone that says that Crystal Care is a good place is somebody that either works there and is lying to prolong their employment, or is paid to say those things to boost their ratings. i was unlucky enough to be a patient there almost three years ago. it was always around 85-90 degrees in the rooms. i told them the heat made me horribly claustrophobic and nauseous. they put me in a horribly uncomfortable bed up against the wall right next to the baseboard heater, that was always on, and a window. it was winter and i had to keep the window cracked so i didn''t overheat which didn''t work. it was either boiling hot or extremely cold, depending on which way the wind was blowing. i got the pneumonia because of that after only a couple days there. if that wasn''t bad enough, i received absolutely no care at all for my pneumonia of any kind. not even blood work. i ate probably one meals worth of food in the few weeks i was a resident there. every time i forced myself to take a drink of water, i would throw it up almost immediately. once again they did nothing. they just gave me a bucket to throw up in. if that wasn''t enough, they would leave me in my feces for most of the day which caused my to have giant bed sours on my bottom. they did nothing about the sores and let me lay in my feces for hours, making my bed sores worse and worse. as a result, i developed a horrible infection on top of the pneumonia which was getting worse and worse. it was horrible there. all the doctors, nurses, and aids wouldn''t ever listen to a word id say. they would only talk "at" me and never "to" me. it was by far the worst place Ive ever been to and the worst Ive ever felt mentally and physically. i still deal with the horrible wounds on my bottom to this day. my name is david grooms and i pray everyday for th safety and well being of the patients that are unlucky enough to get sent to that horrible facility. something needs done about this place!!!!!!
