Celebration Villa of Chippewa was clean. It was enjoyable. The units for assisted living were cute. I like the ones with the shared bathroom, those were a cute idea. The staff I met were very friendly, especially the young lady we talked to. She was very nice and helpful. When they needed her help, she said, 'excuse me,' and she jumped up and took care of the situation. She was on top of things. I didn't try their food, but I liked that they ate family style where everybody was in the dining room. I like that. It smelled good, too. That's one of the things I remarked about, 'It smells nice here.' The elderly I talked to, I asked, 'How do you like to live here?' and they said, 'It's wonderful.' They were in a very good mood. It's nice and clean from what I saw, and I like the fact that they have somebody who comes in and tidies up the rooms for the people. They have a little outside garden area, and that was so sweet.
Read moreThe reason for the 4 ratings is because they need more staffing during the evenings. However, they really do try to do a lot of daily/monthly activities. Getting to know the other residents and families has been heartwarming.

From our tour at Celebration Villa of Chippewa, I noticed that there wasn't anybody there that fit my husband's description for his physical and mental. The people that I saw seemed to be much further into dementia and much less physically able to help themselves. They were all in wheelchairs, and I didn't see anybody ambulating. However, I like the rooms. I like the little lady that showed me around. She was very informative and very friendly, and she told me a lot about the place. I liked the garden, too. As to any of the other places that I looked, I liked that place better. So far that's the one that I like best and that would be my choice when we're ready, but I think we are not there yet. I thought the place was very clean. It's cleaner and less cluttered than mine. Based on what I saw, I would give them very high marks because it seemed like they were doing a very good job.
Read moreMy loved one is currently a resident at Celebration Villa of Chippewa. Overall, the experience at this facility has been okay. The friendliness is good. The meals and activities are okay. However, the administration staff seems bothered when asked to comply with insurance matters.
