There's nothing we didn't like about Cedarhurst of Sedalia. We loved everything about it. We like the size of the rooms, how fun the staff was, and the price is decent. We also like the activities they offer. The staff was friendly and happy. They offer onsite physical therapy. They have a courtyard and a gym. They don't have a salon, but they have somebody that comes in and does hair and nails. The place is very clean. In terms of location, Wal-Mart is right down the road. There's urgent care and the Bothwell Diagnostic Center, which does lab work, x-rays, and all the above in the facility. There are multiple restaurants in the area.

When we first went to look and visit, the sales coordinator was amazing. The tour was great and everything was wonderful, we were made a lot of promises. When they moved in, the coordinator had moved on and the move in experience was not of the level that she would have provided us. My loves ones biggest complaint is they are told dinner is 5:30-7, but if they go down at 6 there is no one there. There have been other times I have been there between that time and the dining room is completely dark. The staff we made connections with at the beginning are not there anymore. The nursing and everyday staff have been great and the building itself and the rooms are beautiful.

I have seen Cedarhurst of Sedalia. It's very nice. For us, it's in a very convenient location, and the apartments were very nice. I liked it. They had a restaurant too. It was very nice. The staff was very nice. They're very educated on what they had to offer. The rooms were spacious and clean, and I think that was good. I like that they offer a garage. They offer continental breakfast and lunch. They have activities, and they offer laundry on each floor. They take the residents to different places, they have exercise, they have game time, and they have cocktail time once a month. The living atmosphere is very comfortable.

My mother is staying in Cedarhurst of Sedalia. There have been some rough spots, but overall it's been pretty good for her. For the most part, the staff members are very caring and helpful. I like their willingness to protect her during the COVID outbreak. She's in enhanced care. It's not really independent, but it's not quite memory care. It's the highest level they have. The food is not very good. They are 100% COVID-free right now. When they have any kind of confirmed COVID cases, they shut down all their activities. They don't have any COVID cases now, so they have activities for them.
Read moreCedarhurst of Sedalia is great. The staff has been great. My father's apartment is all right. He has a TV, and he does jigsaw puzzles. His room was refurbished from the previous tenant. When I went in there it was all painted and ready to go.
