Out of all the places I checked, this was the best suited for my needs and I liked everything about it. We picked this community, becauseI liked the location, the facility and the staff. I would recommend to others.
Our family had an in person tour and we really thought it was a good tour experience, no issues at all.

Our sister in law is doing great at Harmony Village at Stanwick Road, the community is very clean and our loved one is being very well taken care of. She has a very pretty apartment that looks off onto a courtyard. Every time we go to visit our loved one and the other residents are always dressed very nicely, and her hair is always done. They give them good activities to do and based on our experience so far we would recommend Harmony Village to other families.

My dad will be moving into Harmony Village at CareOne Stanwick Road. The main thing that we noticed was their focus on memory care. The gentleman that we met (who was the marketing director) has been very supportive in our transition. We saw examples of the rooms that my dad would be in. We took a tour of the common areas. We are encouraged by the level of attention that they give. It seems to be a warm environment. They divide the entire community into sections, and they group the residents by their level of need. It gives the residents a feeling that they're not in a place where they don't belong. It was a standout layout that we took notice of, and we definitely feel that it's going to be a benefit for my father. Each one of the neighborhoods that the residents live in is isolated from other neighborhoods. Each one of them has its own courtyard. They have an outside area with benches and nice gardens. The caretakers that take care of the residents are unique to each one of the divisions, so the residents get to know them specifically. We are encouraged by that.

Everyone here was very nice and they tried their hardest, if we asked for things they were more than willing to help out. Everyone here was very nice and they tried their hardest, if we asked for things they were more than willing to help out. They sold us on the fact that they break the residents up by cognitive ability, but that was not her issue it was more behavioral. She was in level 3 and it just did not work for her because there was no one she could talk to or interact with. I think had she been in 2 it would have been a much better fit. Our biggest complaint about Harmony Village was that there was minimal communication. We lived out of town and it was very hard to get answer from anyone and they never would give updates, we always had to ask for them. Once we had to move her stuff out, they never really helped out much.
