I toured this facility and it was great. The staff was great also. However, the population seemed generally older and in need of more assistance. Not quite the right fit for my loved one, but a nice place!
Our family had an in person tour and we thought the overall tour experience was great
I had a great tour experience with Canfield Place. The downfall was that it was too far from my home (time wise due to traffic), so we opted for a facility closer to home.

The community is wonderful and the staff are extremely friendly. We feel like the staff are like family. There are lots of care services available for your loved one here. The food services director waited on us during the tour and it was stellar. My loved one enjoys the food options here, and the community is able to accommodate dietary restrictions. There are activities such as religious services, happy hour, and more for the residents to partake in.

It's a great place in a great location. The decor is charming. What I loved the best, was that it was autumn when I was there and I had a window, that I could look out of and watch the beautiful autumn leaves change and blow in the wind. The food is terrific. The young people were for the most part positive and willing to help. I didn't need any medical help but they were there for laundry and straightening the room, prompt meal service, etc. A staff member arrived soon after I pushed the button. I had rides to my appointments and there was no problem. I thank this place and I'm hoping to stay at one of their similar respite care facilities after my next surgery.
